Tracing Karviná Origins

The network of cycle ways and cycle trails as a key feature of transport and free-time infrastructure will be finished to connect cultural, natural and historical sites in the city. The project aims to access and benefit from the area formerly used for coal mining with potential of further development in recreation and tourist activities. The new education trail titled “Tracing Karviná Origins” will be established to inform on history of the area, its conversions and present situation. The guideways and the pathway will be divided into five stages interlinked geographically and thematically. The project also treats construction adaptations and the equipment of individual stages, including 28 information spots of the trail.
